Watching liberals debrief the election is...somewhat shocking TBH. They don't seem to have any insight whatsoever into the many problems of the regular person you mention from living and dying with debt to uncertain health insurance to free speech. They don't get that people are spending their lives in ways they hate to keep up with the rent and health premiums. The Democrats put "democracy" on the table and 51% of voters whose top issue was "democracy" voted for Trump. We want to be able to speak to each other without government interference. You're 100% right. We need to break through our own brains and think of something new.
When reading your clear as a bell essays feels subversive, that’s also shocking! We have work to do indeed. I feel like an outlier most of the time but grateful for your contributions and connection here. I’ll fill you in on my vision for a forum soon. Right now the idea is more of a general wash and a feeling that something needs to be done. I want to really outline what this will be. It started with an overwhelming desire to build an outdoor stage and get back to my theater roots but has expanded into something that may be more of a nod to my radical grandparents who ran a non profit called The Berkshire Forum where I got to meet some of the greatest thinkers and activists of our time.
Thanks much nephew!…. You are my nephew aren’t you? I was thinking of sending this great essay to your step-mother Laurie…..But your step- mother and I are seriously out of step and we don’t speak!
What do you think! Should I send this to her! She is a devotee of Zion last I heard!
Your dad and step-mother are both glaringly absent from the Eulogy! Yes I read the Eulogy, very intense and I will respond in good time! Thanks for sharing it with me Josh! 💜🥷
BTW and FYI- I worked for the Jill Stein Presidential campaign for .7 months! As Phone bank lead…. Viva la Resistance…. And Im a big Caitlin Johnstone fan…

Technically yes! Laurie and I bonded in 1996 and haven’t been in touch since. Surprised she’s a Zionist.
Laurie is full of surprises…
She was already a Zionist in 1996! The topic just never came up in those days LOL
But I think by that time I had already been branded an anti-semite for criticizing Israel!
Oh I know… about the surprises. I have many stories.
Ohhhh I’m all ears when it comes to “stories”
Would you share a few?
